Phase 1: Pharmacist References (January 2011)
The new Pharmasave Portal will eventually replace our current XNet. We are adopting a phased approach to the rollout of the portal, starting with Pharmacy. We plan to implement the Pharmasave Portal in the following three major phases:
Provides single sign on access to pharmacy library resources as mandated by Provincial Pharmacy Regulations in electronic databases including:
- CPhA (e-Therapeutics+)
- Lexi-Comp Online
- MediResource (PatientConnect DDI)
- Pharmacist’s Letter (Canadian Pharmacist’s Letter and Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database)
Phase 2: Pharmacy (Q1 2011)
This phase of the portal will enable all store-level pharmacy staff to have online access to pharmacy information and the tools and resources required for pharmacy operations. Industry standard search capabilities will be available in this phase, training will be provided, and users will be able to access the following sections and functions:

Phase 3: Front Store (Date to be finalized)
In this phase users will be able to access information regarding the front store operations such as: merchandising, Pharmasave Brand, marketing, etc…
